Description
The University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network consortium, is soliciting proposals for wide-area-network leased lit-fiber Ethernet, shared UETN backbone connections, standalone Internet access, and associated Category One network equipment. Requested services include circuits ranging from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps, including Internet access from 50 Gbps to 100 Gbps, with installation and initial configuration. Wireless service is not accepted, and dark fiber is excluded unless specifically requested. WAN and backbone pricing is requested for five years with one optional one-year extension, while Internet access pricing must reflect three years with two sequential one-year extensions, except where the attachments specify otherwise. Vendors must submit applicable cost proposals separately from the technical proposal, along with Attachment F and the Exception/Compliance Summary, acknowledge addenda, and comply with E-Rate, Utah procurement, and other stated requirements. Proposals are evaluated by location and multiple awards may be made; all recurring and non-recurring costs must be firm and all-inclusive.
