Description
Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking information from vendors, suppliers, agencies, and nonprofit organizations that provide food waste recycling services, food recovery services, or both within City boundaries. Respondents must describe their business, service offerings and exclusions, end-to-end processes, customer education on food waste recycling and reduction, and approaches to transportation pollution, energy use, fuel consumption, and fuel costs. A Utah business license is also requested as part of the business information. This is an RFI and will not result in a contract or purchase. The City may use the information to identify available resources, inform future food waste recycling and food recovery plans, and potentially list or promote providers through City resources and collaborations. Responses must be submitted electronically through the Utah Public Procurement Place, with the cover sheet and response compiled primarily into a single file; confidentiality claims may be submitted when applicable.
