Description
The City seeks an event producer to plan and execute a one-evening festival-style concert across multiple spaces at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium. The producer will recruit and contract local bands, DJs, historians, and other performers; develop the entertainment schedule; coordinate production equipment and vendors; provide stage management and qualified union stagehand labor; and manage event-day logistics, load-in, changeovers, and load-out. The event is scheduled for February 20, 2027. The proposal must include the proposer’s experience and references, event vision and approach, work plan and schedules, staffing and security plans, anticipated subcontractor and rental needs, requested City-provided equipment and services, and a detailed fee proposal. A $150,000 project budget is stated. The selected producer must provide insurance documentation before award and obtain a City business operations tax certificate before contract award.
