Description
The District seeks contractors to furnish, deliver, and pneumatically install landscape bark and/or playground engineered wood fiber at its schools, administrative facilities, and other District locations on an as-needed basis. Bidders may propose for either or both categories, which will be evaluated separately. Work is limited to replenishing existing landscape beds and playground surfacing; new installations and unrelated improvements are excluded. The contract requires at least three available pneumatic blower trucks and the capacity to install at least 300 cubic yards per standard eight-hour workday. Playground engineered wood fiber must meet applicable ASTM F2075, F1292, and F1951 requirements, with supporting manufacturer specifications and laboratory test documentation. Proposals include unit pricing, proposed-material information, qualifications and capacity responses, comparable-work experience, and at least three references for comparable services performed within the past five years. The anticipated contract term is one year, with no guaranteed minimum quantities or expenditure.
