Description
Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance is soliciting proposals from qualified entities to provide Medi-Cal navigation support services in response to federal requirements enacted under House Resolution 1 (H.R. 1). The scope includes pre-application assistance, application and renewal support, document collection, BenefitsCal navigation, follow-up services, and assistance helping affected adults understand and document compliance with new work and community-engagement requirements. Services are intended to promote complete and timely submissions, reduce processing barriers, and support County administration of increased renewal and customer-assistance needs. The proposed contract term is one year, beginning February 1, 2027, with two possible one-year renewals, contingent on federal and state funding. Proposers must be prepared to provide high-volume navigation support and safeguard personally identifiable information. The attached contract template requires applicable insurance, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, professional liability, abuse or molestation coverage, and cyber liability, with specified minimum limits where applicable. Subcontracting requires prior written County approval.
