The United States Air Force is conducting market research for a potential base-wide systems, modular, and freestanding furniture maintenance contract supporting Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The requirement includes furniture disassembly, reconfiguration, relocation, installation, maintenance, repair, locking-system maintenance and rekeying, warehouse operations, automated inventory management, computer-aided design and redesign, layout drawings, data libraries, labor-and-materials quotes, and related project execution. The requirement is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity effort and is not for the purchase of new systems or modular furniture workstations. The contractor would also support telecommunications and interior finishing work associated with furniture projects, including copper and fiber-optic cabling, routing, termination, testing, labeling, electrical and plumbing adjustments, patching, painting, ceiling-tile relocation, and related documentation. Designs must be prepared or directed by NCIDQ-certified interior designers, telecommunications designs must be performed and stamped by an RCDD, and applicable electricians, plumbers, and cable installers must hold the specified certifications or licenses. The contractor must safeguard facility floor plans designated as Controlled Unclassified Information in accordance with applicable security requirements, obtain required base access credentials, maintain quality-control and safety plans, and provide capability information addressing relevant experience, staffing, financial and operational capacity, teaming or subcontracting, business size, socioeconomic status, and CAGE or UEI information. Responses are capability statements rather than offers and are limited to seven pages.
