Description
The Municipality of the County of Kings intends to establish a standing offer list of general building contractors for low-value construction work with anticipated costs of up to $100,000, inclusive of non-recoverable HST. Work may involve municipal infrastructure such as administration and office buildings, treatment plant buildings, pump station buildings, and other outbuilding structures. The standing offer is intended to provide an efficient procurement mechanism for individual low-value construction requirements and does not replace the Municipality’s obligation to conduct an open competition where required. The Municipality may obtain construction services outside the standing offer list when permitted or required by its procurement policy.
