Description
The 628th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research regarding a proposed $2 million increase to the cumulative ceiling of existing Facility Enhancement and Maintenance multiple-award IDIQ contracts, from $16.5 million to $18.5 million. The immediate requirement covers surface preparation and protective coating work, comprehensive floor-covering removal and installation, miscellaneous building and mechanical repairs, and related labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, signage, cleanup, and hazardous-material controls. Work may include painting, water blasting, flooring systems, furniture movement, HVAC and plumbing equipment replacement, electrical and building-trade repairs, and minor structural repairs across Joint Base Charleston facilities. Respondents must submit a capability statement of no more than five pages addressing company information, socioeconomic status, teaming or joint-venture arrangements, single-project and aggregate bonding capacity, up to three relevant prime-contractor projects completed within the past three years, and a calendar-day mobilization and security-readiness timeline. The notice is for sources-sought market research only and is not a solicitation for proposals or quotes. A competitive follow-on IDIQ is being developed for award before 2027.
