SECTION 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS OWNER: Kewanee Park District PROJECT: Kewanee Baker Park Golf Course Clubhouse Expansion NOTICE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that Kewanee Park District will receive sealed bids for construction of the above project until 2:00 pm, local time, on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Sealed bids will be opened and publicly read. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bids will be received at the Kewanee Park District Office, 1095 Cambridge Rd. Kewanee, IL 61443. All interested parties are invited to attend. The Project is described in general as construction of a new addition featuring banquet hall, pro shop, simulator space, and partial renovation of the existing building. Multiple subcontracts will be awarded, with contracts held by Construction Manager. Offers shall be on a stipulated sum basis with segregated bids for each of the Bid Packages listed in Section 01 12 13 Summary of Multiple Contracts. - Bid Package D: General Trades - Bid Package E: Roofing - Bid Package F: Glazing - Bid Package G: Gypsum Board & Acoustic Ceiling - Bid Package H: Plumbing & HVAC - Bid Package I: Electrical The following bid packages were already awarded under a previous bid release: Concrete, Steel, Earthwork & Site Utilities. Bid Security in the amount often percent (10%) of the bid must accompany bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder is required to pay the general prevailing wage for work in Henry County as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor and shall submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and shall comply with all applicable Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity laws. Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract will be requested as a bid alternate for all bidding subcontractors. Make proposals on the Bid Form supplied in the Project Manual. No other proposals or modifications will be considered. Kewanee Baker Park Golf Course Clubhouse Expansion Work required by the proposed contract shall begin upon IS- SUANCE OF THE OWNER'S "NOTICE TO PROCEED"; the Work associated with the project must be completed with all equipment placed in operation on or before the anticipated date of Substantial Completion.
