Parks Canada Agency requires construction services to renew the exterior envelope of the Firehall at Waterton Lakes National Park. The work includes removal and replacement of metal roofing, flashings, underlayment, fascia, soffits, wood siding, wall coverings, foundation insulation panels, and related trims and drainage components. The contractor must provide high-wind standing-seam metal roofing, perforated soffits, dark-sky-compliant lighting, weatherproofing, waste removal, and repairs to compromised framing and other materials. The project also includes boxing out exterior structural posts, concrete modifications at post foundations, replacement and resizing of specified triple-pane windows, cultured stone at designated elevations, and replacement of the existing glazed entrance assembly with a fire-rated, non-glazed commercial steel door. The contractor must supply labour, transportation, insurance, supervision, equipment, and materials; comply with applicable safety and environmental requirements; and complete the work by November 1, 2026. Bidders must submit an Indigenous Participation Plan, with evaluation weighted 20% for the plan and 80% for price, using the required two-submission procedure.
