Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a provider for approximately 17–20 hours per week of Homemaker Personal Care services for an adult male with developmental disabilities who lives in his family home. Most services are expected to occur in the home, with community activities potentially requested based on his interests and comfort level. The provider should be able to support medical and behavioral health needs, recognize and respond appropriately to seizure activity, and demonstrate experience with seizure disorders and behavioral health diagnoses. Occasional Residential Respite services may also be needed as backup to the current respite provider; interested providers should be able to provide both service types or be certified for Residential Respite.
