Description
The Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking residential respite services to back up the current caregivers of a 56-year-old nonverbal male. HPC-T would be authorized for the service. The individual has severe intellectual disability, Down syndrome, Raynaud's syndrome, eyesight issues, and arthritis. He may pinch when his personal space is entered and enjoys blocks, puzzles, and music. Providers should be prepared to support his communication, medical and physical needs, and behavioral considerations in a residential respite setting.
