Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for weekly protective clothing and operational supply rental services at its Chowchilla River CVEF Area Office. The contractor must furnish, deliver, collect, launder, sanitize, inspect, repair, replace, and inventory uniforms, shop clothing, coveralls, slip-resistant mats, and shop towels. The scope includes initial employee sizing and fitting, uniform alterations, name tags and CHP logos, containers for soiled items, weekly manifests, and replacement of worn items caused by normal wear at no additional charge. The agreement is anticipated to run from February 1, 2027, or upon approval, through February 28, 2030, with a transition month for initial setup followed by recurring rental services. Award will be made to a single responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. Bidders must demonstrate at least three consecutive years of relevant experience within the past five years, possess applicable business licensing, and submit the required forms, references, certifications, and supporting business documentation. The DVBE participation requirement is waived, although eligible DVBE participation may receive an incentive.
