Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for protective clothing and operational supply rental services at its Sonora Area Office. The required items include shop jackets, short-sleeve uniform shirts, work pants, bar towels, shop towels, slip-resistant mats, and scraper mats. The contractor must provide initial sizing and setup, name tags and CHP logos, containers for soiled items, weekly pickup and delivery of clean and sanitized items, mat cleaning, manifests, repairs, replacement of worn items, and quarterly inventories. The resulting agreement is anticipated to run from January 1, 2027, through January 31, 2030, subject to approval and funding. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. Bidders must submit the required signed forms and supporting documentation, including business licensing, applicable corporate or nonprofit status documentation, licenses or certifications, client references, and required state certifications. The DVBE participation requirement is waived, but eligible DVBE participation may receive an incentive.
