Description
The City of Fresno is soliciting a lump-sum contractor to replace existing evaporative coolers and a rooftop furnace with four packaged gas-electric rooftop HVAC units, new ductwork, economizers, controls, gas and condensate connections, and associated startup, testing, balancing, and Title 24 compliance work. The project also includes removal of existing HVAC equipment, roof patching, wall penetrations and framing, interior and exterior finish repairs, and painting. Additional work includes an electrical service upgrade; new switchboards, panels, transformer, and generator relocation; temporary power for the community center; fire alarm integration with duct smoke detectors; structural supports and equipment curbs; concrete, fencing, bollards, landscaping, irrigation, pavement, and site restoration. The construction allocation is $1,900,000, with completion required within 180 working days after the Notice to Proceed. A valid California Class B contractor's license is required, along with a 5 percent bid deposit, 100 percent payment bond, and 100 percent performance bond.
