Description
The University of Wyoming is soliciting bids for a complete flame-resistant/chemical-protective laboratory coat management program rather than laundering alone. The selected supplier must provide new and replacement FR/CP laboratory coats, sizing and fitting, garment identification and tracking, scheduled pickup and delivery, industrial laundering using processes that preserve protective properties, inspection, repairs, inventory management, and replacement of garments that are damaged, worn, lost, contaminated, or otherwise unserviceable. The current inventory is approximately 814 laboratory coats and 14 full coveralls. Bidders must identify proposed garment manufacturers and models, fabric composition, weight, applicable standards or certifications, and available sizes. The submission must include the completed Bid Form, completed Exhibit 1 export-compliance questionnaire, at least three customer references, an implementation and account-upkeep plan, and applicable brochures for additional services. The contract is expected to begin March 1, 2027, with a standard three-year term and two possible one-year extensions. The University requires commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and employer’s liability coverage, and prohibits subcontracting or assignment without prior written approval.
