Description
Fresno County is seeking a vendor to provide a broad assortment of irrigation supplies on an as-needed basis for County departments and the public library. The quotation schedule includes PVC and other pipe, elbows, tees, couplings, caps, emitters, sprinklers, nozzles, pipe cements, tapes and ties, rotators, irrigation clocks, irrigation valves, brass gate valves, controllers, utility boxes, herbicide, and irrigation control cable. Vendors must provide manufacturer and model information, catalog numbers, descriptive literature, pricing for all listed items, and pricing for five contract years. The County guarantees no minimum quantities and may increase or decrease quantities or order additional items. The County intends to award one agreement for an initial three-year term with two potential one-year renewals. The quotation package must be signed and submitted electronically through the Public Purchase bid page in PDF format; the quotation schedule may be submitted in PDF or Excel format. The solicitation also requires a completed reference list with at least five similar customers, a signed trade-secret acknowledgment, the completed quotation schedule, participation information, applicable local-vendor or disabled-veteran preference certifications, the bidder-completion page, and the submission checklist. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and employer's liability coverage, although the insurance verification documents are required after contract execution rather than with the quotation.
