Description
Kings Canyon Unified School District is soliciting sealed bids for the well drilling phase of a water supply and treatment project serving Alta Elementary School, Riverview School, and Kings Canyon High School. The work includes drilling and constructing groundwater production wells at Alta Elementary and Kings Canyon High School, drilling a test well at Riverview School, pump testing, well development, well logging, casing, gravel packs, annular seals, water sampling, test-well destruction, site cleanup, and associated water system improvements. The project requires a California Class C-57 contractor's license, prevailing-wage compliance, Davis-Bacon requirements, and compliance with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements, including documentation of the six good-faith efforts before bid opening. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site walk is required, and bids must include bid security equal to at least 10% of the total bid price. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and complete the work within 240 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
