Description
The County of Fresno is soliciting up to four competitively selected contractors for a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity Job Order Contract covering mechanical and HVAC repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, reconstruction, and construction work at County facilities throughout Fresno County. Work will be issued through individual Job Orders using pre-priced tasks in the Gordian Construction Task Catalog and four proposed adjustment factors for general and secured facilities during normal and other-than-normal working hours. Contractors must furnish labor, materials, equipment, management, documentation, incidental drawings, and related construction services. The contract has a maximum value of $5,000,000 per contractor, no minimum value, and a 12-month term or ends when the maximum value is reached, whichever occurs first. The prime contractor must self-perform at least 75% of the work. A 1% Gordian JOC system license fee applies to Job Orders. California Class B and Class C-20 licenses, DIR registration verification, prevailing-wage compliance, a $25,000 bid guarantee, and performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the maximum contract value are required. The electronic bid package must be submitted in PDF format through the Public Purchase bid page; the bid security must also be hand delivered by appointment to the County's General Services office by the closing deadline. A mandatory pre-bid webinar is required for eligibility.
