Description
Humber Polytechnic is requesting proposals for weekly linen rental and service supplies supporting its Culinary and Esthetician/Spa Management programs. Required items include chef jackets and aprons, tablecloths, napkins, bath and hand towels, massage towels, and twin flat sheets. The contractor must maintain agreed par levels, replace damaged or worn items, and provide clean, sanitized, hygienically packaged linens. The scope also includes collection of soiled linen; washing, disinfecting, drying, ironing, folding, stain treatment, minor spot cleaning, and dry cleaning of designated garments and fabrics. The contractor must provide scheduled pickup and delivery at least three days per week, emergency or ad hoc service when requested, documented chain of custody, quality-control inspections, cross-contamination prevention, delivery tracking, and correction of incorrect deliveries within 4 to 8 hours. Drivers must be bonded, and the contractor must comply with applicable health, safety, environmental, and workplace requirements. The agreement term is three years, from May 1, 2027, through April 30, 2030.
