Description
Wayne Township is soliciting bids for an open-ended contract covering uniform rental, weekly pickup and laundry, repairs, locker service, and delivery for blue-collar, white-collar, and laboratory employees. The contractor must provide specified shirts, trousers, jackets, lab coats, employee identification emblems, lockers, receptacles, repair tags, and related service. Uniforms must be cleaned, repaired, replaced when necessary, returned on hangers, and placed in employee lockers according to the required delivery schedule. The solicitation also covers the purchase and screen printing of safety-green and navy-blue T-shirts and winter jackets, with estimated annual quantities of up to 1,000 shirts and 20 jackets. Equivalent products may be proposed with supporting documentation. The contract is for up to two years, with up to three additional one-year extensions. Estimated spending is up to $60,000 per contract year for uniform, laundry, and locker services and up to $15,000 per contract year for screen-printed items.
