Description
The City of Fresno is soliciting bids for complete demolition of the existing buildings at 1626 E Street. The work includes abatement and removal of hazardous materials; demolition of building structures and associated foundations; cutting and capping water, fire, and sewer utilities; removal and disposal of oil-water separators; removal of trees and other vegetation; backfill and compaction of demolished basements and surrounding foundations; and installation of a post-driven chain-link fence. The construction allocation is $6,844,500. The project is subject to California public-works requirements, prevailing-wage requirements, a Community Workforce Agreement with local-hiring provisions, and a valid California Class C-21 contractor's license. The contractor must provide a 10% bid bond and, before beginning performance, 100% payment and performance bonds. Construction management documentation must be submitted through the City's CMIS system.
