Description
Barnhart-Benson Builders, Inc. is soliciting subcontractor proposals for the La Joya Commons, Phase II project at 1501 Clyde Fannon Road, Firebaugh, California. The project includes demolition of five existing single-story buildings; construction of four two-story buildings containing 28 living units and approximately 31,623 square feet; a 326-square-foot laundry building; complete site development; finishes; landscaping; and solar. Sub-bids are requested for all trades except plumbing, fire sprinklers, mechanical, electrical, and solar. The project is subject to California prevailing-wage requirements, mandatory Section 3 reporting, and MBE/WBE/DBE and Section 3 business preferences. Bidders must be registered with California's Department of Industrial Relations and provide their DIR registration number with the bid. Proposals must include applicable labor, materials, equipment, licenses, permits, and insurance. Certificates of insurance must meet the Owner/Contractor Agreement requirements and name the specified parties as additional insureds. Subcontractor performance and payment bonds may be required. The completed bid form must include the bidder's scope completion timeframe, notes or clarifications, addenda acknowledgment, applicable certifications, bonding capability, company and preparer information, signature, date, phone number, license number, and DIR registration number.
