Description
The City of Fresno is soliciting electronic bids for a lump-sum public-works construction project involving concrete improvements at the McKinley-Blackstone-Olive-Van Ness Block. The scope includes reconstruction of concrete curb ramps and repairs or construction of driveways, valley gutters, sidewalks, concrete curbs, and unreinforced curb and gutter, along with detectable warning devices, traffic control, clearing and grubbing, hot-mix asphalt plugs, signing and striping, stormwater and fugitive-dust controls, and related facilities and operations. The project has a stated construction allocation of $1,500,000 and an 80-working-day completion period beginning on the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must hold a valid California Class A or C-12 contractor's license, submit a 10% bid deposit, and provide 100% payment and performance bonds. The project is subject to the City's Community Workforce Agreement and local-hiring provisions. A valid Statement of Qualifications, bid proposal, contractor-license information, subcontractor list, certifications, noncollusion declaration, local-preference certification if applicable, Statement of Qualifications update, PLA Agreement to Be Bound, signature page, addenda acknowledgments, and other checklist items are required with the bid; detailed subcontractor information is due within one working day after bid opening for the three lowest bidders.
