Description
The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete pumped pretreatment wastewater connections between Buildings 3, 4, 125, and 156. Work includes excavating and exposing the existing dual-walled fiberglass piping, locating and repairing leaks, installing new electromagnetic flow meters in Buildings 3 and 4, connecting existing waste lines to collection tanks, installing fiberglass and CPVC piping, valves, fittings, vent piping, compressed-air lines, and integrating the flow meters with the building automation system. The project also includes wastewater shutdown coordination, hydrostatic and pneumatic integrity testing, decommissioning and capping old piping, installation of a maintenance cleanout, trench backfilling, concrete driveway restoration, grass restoration, operational testing, and disposal of construction waste. The contractor must submit technical specifications and product information with the cost proposal, identify qualified key personnel, and comply with site security, OSHA, safety, quality-control, and construction requirements. The solicitation anticipates a firm-fixed-price contract with one award and a 365-day performance period from notice to proceed, with the work ready for use within 90 calendar days after notice to proceed.
