Description
The State of Iowa is soliciting a bid for one new 80-foot articulating boom lift for use by the Department of Public Defense. The unit must meet or exceed detailed requirements for platform height and capacity, outreach, articulation and rotation, gradeability, speed, safety systems, controls, telematics capability, diesel powertrain, dimensions, accessories, and a minimum one-year manufacturer’s warranty. The requested unit is brand-name-or-equal to a JLG 800AJ HC3 and must include operator and safety training, service and parts manuals, and maintenance documentation. Bidders must provide pricing before any trade-in allowance, the quoted brand and OEM model, detailed specifications, a photo or brochure, and estimated delivery availability. The State intends to offer a 2013 JLG 600AJ 60-foot articulating boom lift in fair working condition for trade-in credit. The procurement is a one-time purchase, with delivery requested within 90 days after award.
