Description
Polk County is soliciting one provider for workers' compensation medical bill review and related cost-containment services. The scope includes preferred provider organizations, medical provider networks, pharmacy benefit management, durable medical equipment, utilization review, processing of HCFA forms and chart notes, bill sorting and PDF distribution, mailroom services, and bill payment. The provider must disclose savings percentages and all applicable fees, process bills within a maximum of 30 days, possess all required permits, licenses, and professional credentials, and describe its ability to integrate with Polk County's third-party administrator claims system. The proposal must address staffing and developer experience, supported software integrations, three references for similar services, administrative capabilities, and environmental sustainability initiatives. The contract is for three years beginning January 1, 2027, with two possible one-year extensions. A completed Signature Page is required, and insurance coverage must be maintained under the attached requirements.
