Description
Des Moines Public Schools is requesting a quote for one new super-duty public pickup truck for operations. The basis of design is a Ford F-350 Super Duty SRW 4x4 regular-cab truck with a 7.3L or equivalent engine, but all manufacturers may bid equivalent models. The vehicle must be white and include hands-free phone capability, an electronic locking axle, platform running boards, a snowplow/camper package, roof clearance lights, front and rear splash guards, upfitter switches, a 410-amp alternator, dual batteries, 360-degree warning capability, and an amber warning strobe. Bidders must identify standard equipment, optional equipment and prices for options. The submission must include pricing and vehicle specifications, warranty information, and a certificate of insurance. The solicitation also requires responses to online bid attributes concerning primary contact information, delivery and miscellaneous costs, equivalency to the basis-of-design model, estimated vehicle availability, public-records treatment, and electronic signature and certification requirements.
