Description
Henkel Construction Company, serving as Construction Manager at Risk, is seeking statements of qualifications from subcontractors and suppliers for prequalification on five Silo Commons bid packages: earthwork; site utilities, including water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer; cast-in-place concrete and concrete paving; structural steel, metal fabrications, and perforated panels supply; and electrical work. Only firms prequalified for applicable packages with an anticipated value exceeding Iowa's $206,000 competitive bid threshold will be eligible to submit bids for those packages. The Silo Commons project will redevelop an existing silo site into a public gathering and entertainment space. The scope includes renovation of approximately 1,553 square feet of existing silo structures, an approximately 1,700-square-foot outdoor amphitheater and stage, a new approximately 1,430-square-foot restroom building, and associated paving, surfacing, lighting, landscaping, site furnishings, signage, parking, accessibility, grading, drainage, utilities, and site restoration. The Statement of Qualifications evaluates firm experience, key personnel capacity, technical competence, capability, past performance, safety record, legal compliance, availability, and familiarity with the project location.
