The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a contractor to replace selected hot water heating systems at the Saint Louis VAMC JC Campus. The scope includes installing and commissioning four new domestic hot water generators, maintaining continuous hot water service during the transition, and removing the four existing generators in accordance with the drawings and specifications. This is a competitive total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The estimated project cost is $500,000 to $1,000,000, with an estimated 120-calendar-day performance period after receipt of the notice to proceed. The successful prime contractor must perform at least 25% of the general construction labor for NAICS 238220. Award is planned under a best-value, lowest-price technically acceptable process.
