The Troy Community Land Bank is requesting a complete, code-compliant replacement of two existing domestic hot water tanks, including removal and disposal, installation of two appropriately sized high-efficiency tanks, reconnection or modification of water, gas, and electrical connections, required valves, fittings, piping, venting, relief valves, permits, inspections, testing, cleanup, manufacturer warranties, and at least a one-year workmanship warranty. The scope also requires supplying and installing two high-efficiency natural-gas boilers with a minimum 95% AFUE, sized using a complete heat-loss calculation. The work includes splitting the second floor from the existing boiler system, reusing existing upstairs radiator piping where appropriate, removing the existing boiler, installing near-boiler piping, circulator or ECM pumps, expansion tanks, safety and isolation valves, low-water cutoff, venting, combustion-air intake piping, and required gas-piping modifications. Pricing must identify the manufacturer and model, BTU input/output, AFUE rating, optional upgrades or recommended improvements, total installed price including labor, materials, permits, and taxes, and the estimated installation schedule and duration.
