Description
Parkway School District is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for installation-only replacement of purchased rooftop HVAC units at Central High and Central Middle schools. The contractor will remove existing rooftop units and install the owner-furnished replacements, including curb adapters, weatherproof skirting or flashing, electrical and gas connections, and coordination with the controls contractor. The units will be delivered to Budrovich Crane Yard, and the successful contractor will arrange delivery to the project sites. The work includes demolition, roofing and flashing coordination, HVAC installation, controls and electrical connections, testing and balancing, and related closeout requirements. A 5% bid bond is required. The project manual requires a Contractor's Qualification Statement with a recent financial statement, a bid form, proposed subcontractor form, affidavits, and other specified submission materials. The contract work is expected to begin in October 2026 and reach substantial completion by November 2, 2026, although the source documents contain conflicting dates that should be clarified.
