Description
The University of California, Los Angeles is soliciting sealed bids from prequalified HVAC subcontractors for a lump-sum subcontract covering Bid Package 10 at the Acosta Operations Center. The work includes furnishing and installing a complete, functional HVAC system, including CRAC/VAV units, piping, ductwork, diffusers, fire-smoke dampers, controls, insulation, firestopping, stainless-steel drip and condensate pans, testing and balancing, startup, programming, commissioning, and integration with building-management and fire-alarm systems. The project renovates approximately 2,738 gross square feet within an occupied training-center building for technical operations, audio/video control rooms, workstations, a studio, storage, and fire-protection equipment. Work may require phased sequencing and night or weekend activity because of facility restrictions. Only listed prequalified bidders may submit, and the successful bidder must hold an active California C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor license. The estimated construction cost for this bid package is $797,213.
