Description
The Florida Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for HVAC improvements at its District One headquarters. The project includes HVAC mechanical construction, heating and cooling system work, ventilation and ductwork construction, and associated building construction activities at the existing facility. The project budget is $2,500,000. Bidders must submit the prescribed bid proposal, current Florida contractor license documentation, applicable corporate registration documentation, a bid guaranty equal to 5% of the bid amount, a subcontractor list, and the Contractor’s Experience Questionnaire and Financial Statement. The apparent low bidder must also provide qualification data, including evidence of bonding capacity and financial resources. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit is required, and the project has specified performance, labor and material payment bonding, insurance, construction scheduling, supervision, and completion requirements.
