Description
Caroline County is soliciting bids for the removal and replacement of storefront windows at the Health and Public Services building. The work includes replacing the existing windows in kind with Kawneer 451T 2-inch by 4 1/2-inch thermally broken, center-glazed aluminum storefront systems, black aluminum framing, gray low-emissivity tempered insulating glass, air-space muntins, and clear tempered glazing. Comparable products may be accepted, although Kawneer is preferred. Electronic copies of the RFP, drawings, plans, and bid forms are available by email request or through the County website; printed copies are available from the Department of Finance. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting, submit the required bid materials and security, and deliver bids to the Caroline County Commissioners' office for public opening. Certified minority business enterprises are encouraged to respond.
