Description
Yolo County is seeking a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, educational institution, or private veterinary provider to operate a low-cost community spay and neuter clinic in a County-owned facility. The selected contractor will provide low-cost or no-cost spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats, including feral and community-cat Trap-Neuter-Return support; preventative vaccinations such as Rabies, FVRCP, DHPP, and Bordetella; microchipping; and other approved wellness services. The contractor will manage day-to-day clinic operations, staffing, scheduling, client communication, supplies, medical records, licensing, regulatory compliance, sanitation, insurance, community outreach, data reporting, and collaboration with Yolo County Animal Services. The clinic is expected to begin operating one to four days per week and expand during the second year. Proposals must address qualifications and experience, project understanding, responsibility and demonstrated competence, references, other relevant factors, and pricing, and must include the County-provided cost worksheet, signature page, and non-collusion/non-conflict statement. The initial contract term is three years, with three additional one-year renewal periods available by mutual consent.
