Description
Suffolk County Police Department seeks qualified veterinary professionals, animal hospitals, universities, colleges, and professional firms or organizations to provide ongoing veterinary medical care for department canines. Required services include semi-annual physical examinations, flea and tick treatments, complete blood count testing, urinalysis, vaccinations, medications and other drugs needed for treatment, and response to unforeseen canine medical emergencies. The submission package must include a transmittal letter, the Suffolk County compliance packet forms, proposer profile, financial statements, technical requirements response, and a cost proposal or fee schedule. A subcontractor list may be submitted if applicable. The solicitation is identified as RFP 2026-16 and uses NIGP commodity code 96186, Veterinary Services.
