Description
The United States Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District requires design-bid-build construction services for the Natomas Reach I Contract 2 project supporting the American River Common Features Natomas Basin Project. Work includes flattening approximately 2.18 miles of landside levee slope along the American River and Natomas East Main Drain Canal, excavating and placing levee embankment material, relocating utilities, constructing a 12-foot maintenance road, removing trees, installing asphalt and aggregate surfaces, and providing traffic control, signage, as-built drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals. The bid schedule includes Reach I and Reach H construction areas, including excavation, borrow-site excavation, soil placement and compaction, aggregate base and surface course, asphalt pavement, and exposure and backfill of a 12-inch asbestos-cement waterline. The estimated project cost is $10,000,000 to $13,000,000. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside for a firm-fixed-price contract. Amendment 0001 revises the attachments and requires Attachment 15, the Bid Schedule, in lieu of the prior SF 1442 CLIN Schedule. Offers must include the specified price-volume materials, signed SF 1442, representations and certifications, bid guarantee, pre-award survey, and CTA documentation when applicable. The work is subject to environmental protection, stormwater, air-quality, archaeological and biological monitoring, utility coordination, and prevailing-wage requirements.
