Description
The British Columbia Independent Gambling Control Office requires seasonal on-call veterinarians to perform Official Veterinarian duties at Desert Park Raceway when the primary Official Veterinarian is unavailable. Responsibilities include conducting veterinary inspections of horses, placing horses on the Veterinarian list, observing horses for removal from that list, and attending to horses in distress during races, including euthanasia of severely injured horses. The opportunity is evaluated on a lowest-price basis among quotations that satisfy the mandatory criteria, terms and conditions, and specifications.
