Description
Iowa State University is soliciting proposals for a veterinary endoscope service agreement covering the listed Aurora, Olympus, and Karl Storz equipment. The contractor must perform repairs caused by normal wear, tear, or accidental damage; provide at least two maintenance services annually; conduct quarterly on-site inspections; provide telephone and remote technical support; establish repair response and authorization procedures; provide quarterly management reports; offer educational services on endoscope care and handling; and provide shipping containers, packaging, insurance, freight, expedited shipping, written service reports, and guaranteed loaner equipment when needed. Parts used for repairs must be original equipment manufacturer parts. The scope also requires implementation and training, a minimum 120-day warranty on repair work, and a fixed annual fee covering preventive maintenance, unlimited repairs, parts and labor, loaner equipment, shipping, inspections, testing, technical support, and documentation. The contract is scheduled to run from December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2029, with two additional one-year renewal options. Proposals must include an itemized annual quote, responses to the required online attributes, three reference contacts, and any applicable exceptions or subcontractor information. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, commercial automobile liability, workers’ compensation and employer’s liability, and excess or umbrella liability at the stated minimum limits.
