Description
The California Department of Water Resources is soliciting bids for on-demand wilderness first aid, stream safety, and river safety certification training. Offerings include one-, two-, and three-day wilderness first aid courses; one-day river and stream safety training; and two- or three-day river safety certification courses. Training must include classroom instruction, hands-on practice, and applicable in-water scenarios, with course materials, equipment, certifications, and completion documentation provided as specified. Instructors must hold the required current first aid, CPR/AED, wilderness first aid, wilderness first responder, and swift-water or river-safety credentials, as applicable, and meet the experience and practical whitewater requirements in the solicitation. The agreement is anticipated to run for three years, with no guarantee of work; bids are evaluated based on the lowest responsible bid meeting the specifications.
