Description
The City of Scottsdale is seeking a qualified organization to administer and operate a year-round Masters Swimming Program for adults age 18 and older, including structured, supervised, coached workouts for beginning swimmers, fitness enthusiasts, competitive swimmers, and triathletes. Workouts must be conducted at designated City aquatic facilities during approved operating hours, with schedules coordinated with facility staff. Coaches must supervise participants on deck, maintain a maximum ratio of one coach per 20 participants, and provide required certifications and safety training. The program must accommodate varying ability levels, support participant and resident reporting, and comply with facility procedures and emergency action plans. The initial contract term is one year, with up to four additional one-year extensions. Respondents must submit organizational and administrative qualifications, preferred schedules, technical approach, key personnel qualifications and resumes, pricing, references, disclosures, questionnaires, coach certifications, and a daily workout log. The solicitation requires ASCA Level II certification and CPR certification for proposed coaches, along with evidence of similar program experience and references.
