Description
The New Jersey Department of Children and Families, through its Children's System of Care, is seeking to qualify providers for Summer 2027 traditional day camps, overnight camps, and Alternative Recreational Sessions serving youth with developmental disabilities. Providers may offer one, two, or all three service types. Services must be provided at an agency site or CSOC-approved location in New Jersey, with a statewide service area, generally from June through early September. Traditional day camp is available for up to 10 days per youth, overnight camp for up to 6 nights, and Alternative Recreational Sessions for up to 20 sessions, with each session lasting at least two hours. Qualified providers must meet extensive operational, staffing, safety, reporting, licensing, background-check, training, confidentiality, and billing requirements. Responses must include two separate PDF files: one containing the required performance and staffing deliverables with a signed Statement of Acceptance, and one containing the requested organizational, program, compliance, support-letter, data, and program-component materials. Funding is subject to appropriation and available resources, and qualification does not guarantee any service volume or payment. Maximum reimbursement rates are $128.57 per traditional day-camp day, $213.76 per overnight-camp night, and $64.28 per Alternative Recreational Session.
