Description
The City of Port St. Lucie is seeking one or more qualified contractors to operate and manage tennis and pickleball activities at the Racquet & Paddle Center at Whispering Pines Park. The scope includes designing and administering camps, classes, group and private lessons, leagues, drills, clinics, tournaments, special events, and related programming across five standard tennis courts, one tournament court, and 24 lighted pickleball courts with shaded grandstands. The contractor will provide customer service, participant registration, court scheduling and monitoring, operational recordkeeping, weekly operational updates, monthly financial reports, and revenue sharing with the City. Program offerings, fees, hours, and locations are subject to City approval, and coordination with St. Lucie Public Schools is required for shared facility use. Respondents must provide proof of USPTA membership or equivalent Racquet Sports Professionals Association membership, demonstrate competency, submit a staffing plan and proposed compensation structure, and meet the stated insurance and licensing requirements. Limited pro-shop sales and racquet or paddle repairs are also included.
