Description
Arlington Independent School District is seeking private instructors for individual band, choir, and orchestra lessons. Instructors must provide instruction to district students, coordinate scheduling with campus directors, use materials aligned with district curriculum standards, attend scheduled sessions, and submit monthly student reports. The provided application and agreement require instructors to identify their instrument and availability, provide at least three professional or personal references, answer specified background questions, and sign the instructor agreement. The agreement states maximum lesson rates of $22 per 25-minute lesson for instructors without a bachelor's or advanced music degree and $25 per 25-minute lesson for instructors with such a degree. Instructors must handle billing directly with parents or students, maintain liability insurance, comply with applicable laws and district policies, and may be terminated by either party at any time.
