Description
The City of Santa Clara is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to develop and deliver year-round recreational programming for residents and customers through multiple on-call master agreements. Programming may include aquatics, basketball, cooking, dance, enrichment or academic courses, gymnastics, golf, health and wellness, physical movement, music, sewing, tennis, and additional proposed categories. Delivery formats may include classes, camps, lessons, clinics, meetings, parent/child programs, seminars, skill-development courses, special events, trainings, and workshops for participants ranging from infants to adults and at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Contractors must provide qualified instructors, develop schedules, curricula, lesson plans, reports, marketing support, and pricing models, and accommodate participants with special needs. Programs will generally be offered in three eight-week seasonal sessions at City community centers, parks, pools, and other facilities, although some programming may occur at the contractor's facility. Proposals must address company qualifications, staffing and resumes, project approach, sample programs and pricing, relevant public-sector or nonprofit experience, a proposed revenue split, and the required attachments. The initial agreement term is five years, with five additional one-year options; the City expects to award multiple agreements and accepts proposals on a rolling basis.
