Description
The North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management, is soliciting trained personnel to augment and evaluate emergency management operations on an as-needed basis. Services may support the State Emergency Response Team, State Emergency Operations Center, alternate support locations, logistics and supply, operations, planning, recovery, disaster response, damage assessment, incident action planning, and after-action evaluation. Personnel may serve in roles including incident commander, public information officer, safety officer, liaison officer, operations, planning, logistics, and finance/administration section chiefs, task force leader/project manager, and evaluator. Vendors must provide qualified personnel with required Incident Command and National Incident Management System training, scale staffing with 48 hours' notice, support one or two 12-hour operational periods as requested, and provide related coordination, presentations, reports, and personnel logistics. The contract has an initial three-year term and no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantity of services.
