Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is soliciting bids for a master agreement covering preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, calibration, source testing, emergency response, repair, and related replacement services for boilers, steam generators, associated pumps, valves, sensors, controls, and related equipment. Services include routine and emergency repairs, combustion testing and tuning, regulatory compliance support, equipment calibration, diagnostic reporting, parts replacement, equipment rental when needed, and installation-related work for direct replacement units. Source testing must be performed by an independent third-party subcontractor certified or approved by the California Air Resources Board or applicable local air pollution control district. Bidders may submit pricing for one or more participating locations or groups; the State does not guarantee any service volume. The agreement term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029. Bids must include the completed bidder acknowledgment/certification, rate sheet, required certifications and declarations, applicable licenses, technician qualifications or references, and other checklist documents. Mandatory walk-through attendance applies to specified locations, and failure to attend a mandatory walk-through eliminates a bidder from bidding for that location.
