The Arizona State Retirement System is soliciting comprehensive long-term disability program administration services. The contractor will provide implementation and transition support; customer service through a staffed toll-free call center, secure online and telephone self-service, and a dedicated account representative; participant and employer communications; claims intake, eligibility evaluation, case management, independent medical examinations, claim decisions, appeals support, and overpayment recovery. The scope also includes calculating and issuing monthly disability benefits, applying offsets, supporting Social Security legal appeals, maintaining required banking and payment processes, producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, conducting audits and financial reconciliations, and providing performance-guarantee reporting. Contractors must support secure data exchange and integration, disaster recovery, data-breach response, applicable cybersecurity and GovRAMP requirements, and extensive insurance coverage, including general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, professional liability, and network security and privacy liability.
