Description
Henry County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to operate and manage two concession areas at the Henry County Aquatic Center and Kensley Grace Water Park. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services; provide consistent food and beverage service; develop a County-approved menu; supply an electronic payment system; maintain cleanliness and sanitation; remove trash; and comply with applicable food-service, health, safety, and other governmental requirements. Alcoholic beverages may not be sold, and the County will not subsidize operating losses. The Water Park concession will operate seven days per week during the tentative May 22 through September 6, 2027 season, while the Aquatic Center concession will operate during scheduled events, swim meets, rentals, and similar activities from January 16 through November 14, 2027. The contractor will remit a percentage of gross sales to Henry County biweekly and provide sales reporting and audit access. Proposals must address qualifications, comparable food-service experience, references, key personnel, operating approach, project scheduling, proposed menu and pricing, equipment, and required permits. The solicitation includes required forms, a cost proposal, proof of insurance, and health department permit documentation.
